The work, in general, consists of the following: 1. Survey and stake the limit of disturbance, and location of the sedimentation barriers. 2. Place sedimentation barriers as shown on the plans and staked in the field. 3. Install the construction entrance, if/where required. 4. Strip and stockpile the top and subsoil as indicated on the plans. 5. Remove and dispose of existing asphalt as indicated on the plans. 6. Remove and dispose of existing base material, or stockpile for reuse, to depth indicated on the plans. 7. Install underground conduits and curbing as indicated on the plans. 8. Compact subbase and repair any soft areas as needed. 9. Construct pavement section. 10. Excess stockpile material shall be removed and disposed of off-site in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations. 11. Restore the temporary stockpile area to meet or exceed existing conditions. 12. Seed all disturbed areas. 13. Following site stabilization, remove and dispose of all accumulated sediment from detention basin. 14. Clean and flush all drain pipes. 15. Remove the temporary construction entrance and sedimentation barriers. 16. Restore areas beneath sedimentation barriers.
