Provide architectural/engineering services including, but not limited to, architectural programming; schematic design; design development; construction documents; bidding; construction administration, and post-construction. The architect/engineer shall prepare the design development documents consisting of drawings, outline specifications, and other documents to build the entire project as to structural, mechanical, electrical systems, materials, and all other documents essential for the construction of a new port of entry to be constructed at the current site of the San Jon Port of Entry mile post 357 west I-40. The architect/engineer shall provide quality control oversight during the construction phase to ensure the construction contractor is meeting all design and state building requirements. Energy efficiency, ADA, and either open-air ventilation or negative ventilation should be considered in any design. The building will consist of the following: • Block/brick design and a metal roof, and metal exit doors will be metal. • Counter space for customers to conduct business with clerks and inspectors. • Workstations that will have glass partitions, phone, and data connections. One workspace must be ADA compliant. • Four cubicles for inspectors • Five offices, each with phone and data connections and a window on the outside wall. • One unisex restroom for the public and two restrooms for employees, one for females and one for males. All must be ADA compliant. • Breakroom/Conference room with electrical outlets and plumbing. • Temperature-controlled IT room for servers. • One utility room with plumbing for the water heater
