The contractor shall: Transport municipal solid waste and recyclables from SRLD member towns to designated facilities. The SRLD shall determine where individual loads are delivered to. Receive and acknowledge phone calls and emails from the SRLD reporting materials that are ready for transport. Provide portal-to-portal equipment service, both reactive and preventive, including routine and more extensive maintenance of hauling equipment including compactors, trailers, and roll-off containers. Maintain detailed accounting records and provide monthly billing to the SRLD including: Accurate weight slips with associated price/rate shall accompany all invoices for reconciliation. Weight slips shall include the date, time (in & out), vendor information, truck number/driver, price per pound/ton, total price, gross weight, tare weight, and net weight. Monthly records of all service and repairs to SRLD equipment. Records shall include, but not be limited to, detailed description of action(s) performed, associated labor rates, associated labor hours, and cost of associated parts and materials. Invoices (records) shall be itemized separately by SRLD member town. Monthly Fuel Surcharges with required documents for reconciliation. Attend SRLD meetings when requested. Maintain accurate service records for all SRLD equipment that is maintained or repaired. Ensure transport schedules align with the Operations Schedule (Section VII). Coordinate trailer respotting as required by facility hours (including holidays) or weather conditions. All services must comply with SRLD rules and regulations and applicable state and federal laws.
