The selected contractor shall provide a complete, turn-key installation including all engineering, permits, approvals, equipment, materials, and labor required to design and install the photovoltaic (PV) system. The PV array should meet the following minimum technical specifications: 1. Solar PV Panels a. Type: Tier 1 solar panels. b. Minimum Wattage: 550 Watts per panel. c. Certification: Panels must be certified to UL 1703 or UL 61730 standards and have at least a 25- year linear power output warranty. i. UL 1703 certification is crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of PV Modules and panels. ii. UL 61730 is a safety standard for photovoltaic (PV) modules encompassing both construction and testing requirements. 2. Inverters a. Type: Hoymiles micro inverters system or equivalent. b. System Features: Each panel must have an individual micro inverter to optimize production and system efficiency. c. Inverters should support module-level monitoring for performance analysis and diagnostics. d. Compliance: Inverters must comply with IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 SA for grid-tied installations. 3. Communication Gateway a. Type: A Communication Gateway must be provided b. Purpose: For real-time monitoring of the PV system performance and reporting of data. c. Installation: Must be integrated with the facility’s internet or dedicated network connection for continuous monitoring...
