The Contractor will perform the following tasks on a directed basis: 1) Locate and excavate each buried anomaly. Each stone shall be excavated by hand and without power tools in accordance with the American Institute for Conservations Code of Ethics and the Secretary of the Interiors Standards. Approximate anomaly locations are documented in Figure A. 2) Document all project stages. Record daily progress. Photograph and map the location of each stone as found. 3) Set gravestones erect and replace sod. Set gravestones in the area in front of the administration and meeting building in an aesthetically pleasing way that allows for their public viewing. Replace all removed sod and add sod where necessary to ensure the area is fully covered. 4) Assess stones for future preservation treatments. Document treatments and next steps to preserve each stone. 5) Clean stones. When necessary, clean stones. 6) Final Report. Prepare a final report documenting the work, as well as a conservation report including photos, treatments required, condition assessment sheets, and cleaning performed.
