The Village of Rantoul is seeking proposals from vendors to furnish and service flame resistant and standard 100% cotton uniforms for the Village of Rantoul Public Works personnel. Vendor is to furnish and service uniforms for both male and female Village of Rantoul Public Works personnel. All Arc-Flash rating HRC 2 (cal 8+) garments are to protect the employee while performing their typical job duties and for the appropriate season. All uniform wear garments shall be fully replaced (redressed) every two (2) years of the contract. All damaged garments shall be replaced with a new (not-previously worn) garment. All garments replaced due to size change requirement is done without cost to the Village or employee. There shall be no additional/separate pick-up or service fee, unless the Village requests that the route be expanded beyond the four (4) specified locations. The standard 100% cotton uniform shirts shall be “khaki or navy blue” in color. The employee’s name and “Village of Rantoul” will be embroidered on every uniform work shirt or onto a patch which is sewn onto the shirt. There will be no additional/separate “set-up” or “service” fee associated with the embroidering of any uniform shirt replacement throughout the length of the contract. There are approximately thirteen (19) PW employees requiring Arc-Flash rated garments.
