Calibration, servicing and repair of approximately 424 single-channel analytical pipettes and 18 eight-channel pipettes. Two semi-annual calibrations: September 2025 and February 2026. Calibration to take place onsite at four locations: Indianapolis, Evansville, Ft. Wayne and Lowell Laboratories Indianapolis Location to include: 236 single channel pipettes and 12 eight-channel pipettes Evansville Location to include: 57 single channel pipettes and 2 eight-channel pipettes Ft. Wayne Location to include: 56 single channel pipettes and 2 eight-channel pipettes Lowell Location to include: 75 single channel pipettes and 2 eight-channel pipettes Total Number of Pipettes to be Calibrated = 424 single channel, 18 eight-channel Specifications required for calibration: 1) ISO 17025 Accredited Service 2) The vendor must be a Calibration Lab ISO 17025:2005 accredited by an Accreditation Body with an ILAC MRA. 3) The vendor must provide their ISO 17025 accreditation certificate and the scope of accreditation (which must include pipette calibrations) prior to service. 4) At the time of service, the vendor must produce calibration certificates of traceability to NIST for all pipettes. 5) The certificate for each pipette calibration should include “As- left” data. (i.e. “As-found” data not required.) 6) ISO 17025 Accreditation symbol must appear on the calibration certificate. 7) Actual Measurement Uncertainty must be provided on the calibration certificate. 8) A minimum of 2 volumes with 5 samples tested for each pipette (i.e. 2 x 5 measurements).
