• Installing soccer field per plans by Potesta dated 3/4/25. Plans are labeled, “Sherando Park Softball Complex”. Bid response should be limited to sections of the plans related to the soccer field located on Lakeview Circle near Splash Avenue. • • Excavated spoils may be disposed of at a designated site in Sherando Park Note: Softball complex and road/parking addition on the north side of Rt. 277 included in the site plan are NOT part of this IFB. • Installing irrigation system per diagram in plans by Potesta dated 3/4/25, labeled “Sherando Park Softball Complex”. o 8 zones with 28 Hunter I-40 gear drive head with stainless steel risers mounted on swing joints or equivalent. o Connection to water shall be made at the existing main line that services the existing soccer fields. o Control valves to be Hunter 1-1/2” PGV models or equivalent with a PVC ball valve upstream of every valve. o 2” main line piping to be installed at no less than 18” depth. o 1-1/2” lateral lines to be installed at 12”. o Replace the existing controller with a new pedestal mounted Rain Bird ESP-LXME modular controller, or equivalent, mounted on a concrete pad and equipped with a Rain Bird IQ 4G communication cartridge, or equivalent, to include one year of service allowing the controller to be connected to weather data and be operated from a PC or cell phone. • The design engineer has confirmed the soccer field site will require approximately 583 c.y. of fill (including topsoil). Fill should be clean, and topsoil on field area should be placed to a track compacted depth of 8” before sod placement. • Topsoil: Minimum of 8” of 75% sand, 25% silt loam topsoil – to be verified prior to installation.
