There are five types of lane closures possible in Anderson County 1. Single Lane Closure, Nighttime, Primary Routes 2. Dual Lane Closure, Nighttime, Primary Routes 3. Single Lane Closure, Nighttime, Interstate Routes 4. Dual Lane Closure, Nighttime, Interstate Routes 5. Mobile Lane Closure Operation, Nighttime, Interstate; Each type of lane closure above may be a Scheduled or Emergency depending on the notice given by the Resident Maintenance Engineer (RME) or his designee. For Scheduled Lane Closures the Contractor will receive notice at least twenty-four (24) hours before work is scheduled to begin. For Emergency Lane Closures the Contractor shall respond with the appropriate lane closure within six (6) hours of receiving the request from the RME or his designee. Lane closures may be required for more than eight (8) hours.
