The City of Orange Beach is seeking proposals from qualified architect and engineering firms to provide professional facility planning, design and construction phase services for a new Civic Center as detailed in the Scope of Services below. The format must be consistent with the requirements of the RFP. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope of work related to this project as outlined in this RFP after a firm is selected to accommodate changes in the needs of the City and serve the best interests of the City. The City is looking for the construction of a functional, friendly, and progressive civic center for our residents and guests with aesthetics that is similar to the coastal appearance of other city facilities. The civic center should be sizeable enough to accommodate 500 people seated at round banquet tables as well as 1,000 people in row seating. The civic center needs to have a backstage/greenroom area and fitting room and ample storage room. The design should include for generator backup. All civil design will be self performed by the City of Orange Beach.
