Phase I/II Engineering Services: • Detailed topographic surveys, as necessary, for the planning and design of the project • Surveys for any right of way acquisition and construction easements, and the preparation of plats and legal descriptions • Preparation of traffic counts and studies, analysis of crash data and any special intersection studies that may be required to furnish data for the design of the proposed improvement • An Intersection Design Study, as necessary • Geotechnical investigations, as necessary, to determine roadway structural design, as well as CCDD screening • Environmental planning documents, as well as any updates and/or required documents • Wetland Delineation, as necessary • PESA and PSI, as necessary • Location Drainage Study • Hydraulic Report, as necessary • Project Development Report (PDR) • Estimate of construction costs • Preparation of preliminary roadway plans • Assistance obtaining clearances (and permits) from all regulatory agencies as required by the scope of the proposed improvements including the Illinois Commerce Commission • Submit and coordinate all necessary permit requests for any work required • Obtaining Design Approval from the Illinois Department of Transportation • Coordinate with all major stakeholders (municipalities and other involved parties/agencies) and local residents
