The purpose of this project is to upgrade the 9-story parking garage to updated ADA code and standards. To ensure safer egress for all personnel that may also use the parking garage. The abbreviated scope entails the following: Full scope is as per approved permit drawings. . Parking garage is 9 stories high with a total parking capacity of 893 vehicles. . Remove, reconfigure or add handicapped and standard parking as indicated on drawings. . Add accessibility signage as indicated on drawings. . Remove or add pavement traffic markings as indicated on drawings. . Reconfigure curb at ground level and at levels 3 & 4. . Repair concrete slab cracks and waterproof exposed traffic areas. . Apply thermoplastic traffic paint on exposed traffic areas. . Apply traffic paint on interior garage areas. . Relocated exit bar at level 3. . Install new pedestrian railing at building SE corner sidewalk. . Install new louvers at building NW corner, levels 3-9. . Remove, reinstall and install new signage as indicated. . Install new soffit light fixtures at garage entrances and exit as indicated on drawings. . Work to be completed after business hours.
