Contract A: Meter Installation Services: The work shall generally consist of the following: providing all appurtenances and performing all labor to install +/- 2,750 water meters sized ¾” and 1”, +/- 70 water meters(sized 1-1/2” and 2”, +/- 15 water meters sized 3” – 8”, backflow preventers, meter box replacements, registers, and all other requirements to complete the project in accordance with the specifications. The work will have a contract time of 240 days. Contract B: Automated Meter Reading Equipment: The work shall generally cover costs and technical support associated with furnishing +/- 2,840 water meters and backflow preventers with AMR transmitters, a laptop computer for data collection, back-up meter reading equipment, software, set-up, training, and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications. The work will have a contract time of 240 days.
