The awarded provider shall be responsible for: • Hemodialysis Services: o Routine and emergent hemodialysis for inpatient and ER patients o On-demand response for STAT dialysis requests o Equipment and supplies required for bedside or unit-based dialysis o Coordination with nephrology and hospitalist teams • Apheresis Services: o Vendor must be capable of performing therapeutic apheresis procedures, including but not limited to plasmapheresis and red blood cell exchange o The contractor must demonstrate the capacity to manage case volumes consistent with Grady Health System’s operational demand. For reference, Q1 2025 volumes were as follows: • Total Apheresis Procedures: 117 • Red Blood Cell Exchange: 91 procedures • Therapeutic Plasma Exchange: 26 procedures • After- hours/Weekend/Holiday Apheresis Procedures: 13 o Clinical quality indicators must meet or exceed the following: • 100% of patients had ID and consent verified • 100% of procedures were completed without rapid response events or transfers to higher levels of care • 92.31% of procedures were completed without delays...
