Product must be certified for use in drinking water by the National Sanitation Foundation Standard 60 Drinking Water Additives-Health Effects (NSF-60) or the American National Standard’s Institute (ANSI). The product shall have the highest approved use level to allow increased dosages when changes in the process, or feed water characteristics change (FMC Oxypure hydrogen peroxide or equivalent). The hydrogen peroxide supplier shall have the capability to produce and distribute NSF certified product from multiple locations. This ensures steady supply of product in the event of a plant shutdown or other disruption in manufacturing. The product should have a 24-hour stability at 100°F or greater than, or equal to 96%.
