The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract to provide all labor, equipment and materials required to replace existing windows at Skokie Fire Station 18, located at 9024 Gross Point Rd., Skokie, IL. 60077. Work includes the removal and hauling away of existing windows and frames, and provision and installation of new windows, frames, screens, assemblies and hardware. All exterior caulking and finishing to be per manufacturer requirements. Bidders may provide bids on any one or multiple brands of aluminum windows fit to replace existing. Restoration of interiors impacted by the project to be negotiated as the Village may proceed with this work with its own staff. The east elevation areas marked Weight Room and Office contain a total of nine windows. The west elevation marked Bunk Room contains eight windows (see attached drawing). There is a patio door marked as "optional" on the Bid Form. Pricing on this item is being solicited to determine if replacement is warranted.
