The required services to be provided are for Dental services (Oral Surgery) for residents of Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center (CCSSLC). a. The Contractor must provide high quality oral surgery services using IV sedation for individuals as recommended and requested by facility dentists. b. The Contractor must provide examinations, evaluations, and consultations. c. The Contractor must be able to perform specific oral surgery treatment and procedures as necessary. Oral surgery procedures may consist of extraction of erupted, soft tissue impacted teeth. d. Contractor must be able to perform surgical removal of bony impacted teeth or residual root tips. Other procedures may include Full mouth debridement with scaling and root planing for periodontal maintenance. e. Contractor must have a license through the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners and be without restrictions. f. The Contractor must have at least five 7 years’ experience working with people with mental illness and intellectual disabilities. g. The Contractor must be able to build a great report with residents with mental illness and intellectual disabilities creating a relaxed and comforting environment. h. The Contractor must be equipped to provide nitrous oxide as well as administer anesthesia at levels one (1), two (2), three (3) and four (4).
