1. Contract vendor must provide a list of cleaning products and equipment for use in the performance of the janitorial services to the Birmingham Career Center’s manager or authorized personnel for approval prior to start of use. All cleaning supplies used by the contract vendor shall be of commercial strength and meet all safety requirements. Contractor should not use supplies such as ammonia, etc. Safety data sheets pertaining to cleaning supplies must be posted in all supply closets where chemicals are stored. 2. Contract vendor must provide a site manager or supervisor. The site manager or supervisor will be the immediate point of contact for the Agency. The site manager or supervisor may be a working supervisor, but must also make sufficient inspections and follow ups to ensure the services are performed as specified. The contract vendor must post and provide a copy of the cleaning schedule and a detailed checklist to their employees and janitorial room/closet. 3. Contract vendor must provide a continuous updated employee list to the Birmingham Career Center’s manager personnel for employees cleaning this facility. Employee list information must include employee name, current address, and current valid company phone number and company valid email address. Changes in staffing must be reported within 24 hrs. of employee assignment to this facility. The employees must be employed by the contracted vendor. On a full-time or part-time basis. Subcontracting will not be allowed except by written approval from State Purchasing. 4. Contract vendor’s employees agree not to bring, escort, or give to any other person(s) access to the premises while performing cleaning services. This includes pets. If a service dog is required, the Birmingham Career Center must receive advance notification. Failure to adhere as outlined above may result in that employee’s removal from the premises. 5. Contract vendor must complete a daily sign in/out sheets to include printed and signed name, and record of arrival and departure times. A copy of the months’ timesheets will be provided by the Birmingham Career Center to the vendor on the 1st day of the following month.
