Monthly Cleaning Schedule and duties to be performed by Contractor: *****d = daily / n = nightly / w = weekly / m = monthly ***** Offices, Breakroom, and Conference Rooms: Empty wastebaskets. Replace all obviously soiled or torn liners in wastebaskets. Wastepaper and trash will be put into trash can/dumpster in the main disposal area. (n) Dust mop tile floors, taking care to get under furniture and into corners, and the edge of walls and doorways. (n) Damp mop tile floors to remove all foreign matter and/or spillage. (n) Wet mop and spot wax floor where areas show excessive wear. (w) Vacuum and spot clean all carpets. (d) Dust and/or vacuum vents in ceilings walls. (m) Spray buff all uncarpeted floors. (m) Vacuum all fabric furniture. (m) Thoroughly dust all horizontal surfaces, including all available desk tops, tables, file cabinets, window sills, chairs, and ledges. (w) Remove noticeable accumulations of dust on chair bottoms, base of coat racks, bottom of typewriter stands, doors, etc. (m) Remove hand prints from glass topped desks, doors, etc. (w) Remove hand prints from around light switches and door frames. (w) Spot clean walls. (w) Clean and polish bright metal to hand height. (w) Clean all glass in partitions and doors (both sides). (w) Sanitize all door handles. (n) Clean all window sills. (m) Dust and wipe all telephones. (w) Sanitize all telephones. (m) Dust all vertical surfaces such as desks, file cabinets, and chairs. (w) Remove dust from all hard to reach areas such as tops of high cabinets, picture frames, baseboards, light fixtures and any other surface not serviced daily. (w) Clean, dust, sanitize computer stations and chairs. COMPUTERS AND KEYBOARDS TO BE CLEANED BY THE CAREER CENTER. (n) Clean, disinfect with germicidal solution and polish drinking fountains. (n) Employee’s breakroom, tile floors are to be damp mopped, counter/table top, outsides of appliances and sinks are to be kept clean. (n) Wash out trash receptacles using a disinfectant. (w) Front and back entrances & sidewalks to be kept clean. (n) If janitorial personnel utilize the heating or air conditioning system, they are to be placed at proper setting before leaving. (n) Supply closets to be kept clean and neat. (n) Restrooms: Empty all containers and disposals. (n) Clean mirrors. (n) Clean entrance door. (w) Clean towel cabinet covers. (w) Clean and disinfect with a germicidal detergent solution on all wash basins, commodes, toilet seats, urinals and adjacent surfaces. (n) Clean toilets and urinals with an acid-type bowl cleaner and bowl mop. (w) Dust, spot clean, metal partitions and polish bright work. (w) Wash and sanitize metal partitions. (w) Sanitize all door handles. (n) Remove fingerprints from stall doors. (w) Remove splash marks from walls around wash basins and urinals. (n) Wet mop restroom floors using a germicidal detergent solution. (n) Empty wastebaskets. Replace all obviously soiled or torn liners in wastebaskets. (n) Vacuum entrance mats and replace in the entranceway after the floor has dried. (n) Dust and clean to remove fingerprints from all glass. (n) Entryway/Exit rugs inside and outside must be swept, vacuumed, cleaned under. (n) Empty trash receptacles. (n) Sanitize and polish kick plates and push bars. (n) Carpets and Floors: 1. Sweep and mop all tile floors, moving rugs where needed. (n) 2. Vacuum all carpet areas. (n) E. Parking Lot: 1. Remove all trash and debris from parking lot. (n) Quarterly Services: (March, June, September. And December) – Scheduling of Quarterly Services must be in writing in advance of service Thoroughly strip, rinse, and apply two coats of finish to all tile floors. Clean all restroom base tile, floors, and grout to include solvent base sealing. Shampoo or steam clean all carpets. Method used depends upon type of carpet. Dust all corridor walls up to the ceiling with untreated mop or vacuum. Dust or clean ceiling vents. Clean all light fixtures thoroughly. Clean all windows (inside and outside). Dust all blinds or wash if necessary. Clean all baseboards and molding thoroughly Clean all paneling with oil soap.
