UNIVERSITY CAMPAIGN READINESS STUDY ▪ Conduct an internal assessment of fundraising operations and programs, with particular attention to staffing. Benchmark findings against peer institutions. ▪ Identify the types of fundraising strategies and models likely to be successful and necessary to reach our goal. Recommend the personnel, infrastructure, and budget required to support the campaign. ▪ Assess overall campus culture and environment and its level of readiness to support fundraising activities. ▪ Submit a final report that includes a summary of the internal assessment, including actionable recommendations and a gap analysis. CAMPAIGN PLANNING STUDY ▪ Determine the willingness of alumni, friends, donors, the university community and others to financially invest in the university and support proposed initiatives. ▪ Recommend a campaign goal, including size and scope of the campaign. Support the recommendation with an analysis of giving capacity, gift pyramid structure, lead gift feasibility, and timeline expectations. Assess potential areas of strength and risk. ▪ Submit a detailed final report that includes a summary of all findings, including key interview themes, donor perceptions, and gift capacity analysis. ▪ Present a final report in person to the University’s senior leadership and volunteer leaders. Lead a strategic discussion focused on campaign feasibility, recommended next steps, and readiness gaps.
