The winning bidder shall furnish all materials, replacement equipment, conduit, cabling, low-voltage electrical work, labor at prevailing wage rates, and any required equipment, tools, ladders, scissor lifts, or other items to complete the job as specified below: DIAGNOSIS: ● Test and confirm wiring at the main amplifier and digital zone processor stack for proper configuration and operation ● Utilizing test announcements, tone testing, sweeping tones, pink noise, music, or other industry standard methods, identify which speakers are functioning as expected, which are not working, and which have issues such as buzzing, rattles, distortion, low volume, static, physical damage, electrical shorts, etc. ● If necessary, use a multimeter to test the DC resistance and determine whether a speaker has an internal short, indicating it may require replacement. ● Inspect speakers for physical damage to the housings or cones, loose or broken connections, or other damage. ● Mark the location of all speakers on building floor plans on each floor, using a color coding scheme to indicate the current performance of the speaker (green = functioning normally, yellow = further investigation needed, red = not functioning) TROUBLESHOOTING: ● Ensure all components of the PA system are receiving power. Check power switches, power cords, and circuit breakers. Look for any blown fuses and replace them with the correct type ● Inspect all cables for damage, loose connections, or kinks. Replace or repair any faulty cables. ● Verify that all cables are correctly plugged into the appropriate inputs and outputs on the DSP, amplifiers, and speakers. ● Test and confirm the integrity of all wiring and connections...
