The St. Charles County Highway Department is seeking bids to remove an existing above ground fuel tank and furnish and install a split compartment fuel tank at the Western District Facility located at 121 Freymuth Road, Wentzville, MO 63385. 1. Apply and pay for all necessary permits through the regulating authorities. Provide any and all engineered drawings required to obtain permits. 2. St. Charles County will remove the existing diesel and gasoline from the existing split compartment tank. The contractor shall be responsible for removing and disposing of any residual waste from the tanks. 3. Demolish and remove the existing tank (3,000 gallon diesel/1,000 gallon gasoline) including all piping, conduit and accessories. All salvageable accessories, pumps, hoses, nozzles, meters, etc. will be retained by St. Charles County. 4. Clean and detail the existing tank area prior to new tank installation. 5. Furnish and install (1) UL 2085 split compartment fuel tank. 1000 gallons will be Gasoline, 3000 gallons will be diesel. Tank shall be equipped with the required atmospheric vents, emergency vents, tank level gauge, interstitial leak, gauge, MECO over fill alarms, remote spill container, and overfill drop tubes. 6. Furnish and install one Fillrite 35 Gpm Diesel Pump and metered cabinet. Equip the pump with a 15' hose and nozzle setup. 7. Furnish and install one Fillrite 18 Gpm Gas Pump and metered cabinet. Equip the pump with a 15' nose and nozzle setup. 8. Run new conduits to each of the pumps and cabinets. Make all the electrical connections. 9. Furnish and install one 20' light pole with LED light and photocell sensor. 10.Startup system and test for proper operation.
