San Bernardino City Unified School District employs a manual time and attendance tracking system. Employees are required to sign in daily on paper attendance sheets at their respective work sites. These timesheets are collected, and the data is manually entered into the District's SAP Time and Attendance system by designated site personnel. Payroll then downloads the reports into Excel files, formats them, and imports the data into the San Bernardino County Superintendent (SBCSS) Payroll system. To enhance efficiency and accuracy, the District would like to implement an automated time and attendance system. This system aims to digitize time tracking, automatically calculate work hours, manage vacation, holidays, sick days, and overtime. Additionally, it is expected to provide scheduling features, visibility into overtime causes and trends, and employee self-service portals for timecard details and leave balances.
