The City of Lincoln is requesting bids to supply Liquid Dewatering and Thickening Polymer for the City of Lincoln's Theresa Street Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) and the Northeast WRRF. An approximately 325,000 lbs. of active polymer will be required annually for both facilities. Quantities are estimates based on previous usage and constitute no commitment on the part of the City of Lincoln. Centrifuge dewatering activities for anaerobically digested sludge at the Theresa Street Facility consumes approximately 221,900 pounds of liquid polymer on an annual basis. The liquid polymer is bulk, delivered in semi-tanker trucks. Centrifuge thickening at Theresa Street consumes approximately 30,000 pounds of liquid polymer per year.
