The California Job Challenge Academy (CAJC) is soliciƟng bids from qualified professional service providers for Lice Treatment Services that will be needed for our female cadets for Cycle 13 through Cycle 18. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall provide all the following services as specified and required by the contracting Agency: a. Complete lice inspection and treatment of lice in compliance with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for approximately 50- 55 female cadets. (1) The contractor will screen all female cadets for lice. (2) Treat any female cadets that have mild to severe / extreme case of lice using nit terminator comb and non-toxic topical head lice product. (3) Prevent any spread of lice to other cadets. b. LocaƟon: The services for lice inspection and lice treatments will be conducted on site at California Job Challente Academy, 4122 Saratoga Avenue, Building 20, Los Alamitos, CA 90720, located at Joint Forces Training Base. c. Set up lice inspection area uƟlizing chairs, tables, and privacy curtains provided by California Job Challenge Academy. d. Clean up: After the compleƟon of a service the contractor will clean their workspace. At a minimum, clean up shall include sweeping of the floors, de-saniztizing work staƟons and the removal and disposal of any trash generated during the service in the workspace. California Job Challenge Academy will provide trash bags and there are dumpsters on campus. e. Dates and hours of service: (1) 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. (2) Contractor shall begin services at the time and on the day requested by the Contract Manager (CM) or the Alternate Contract Manager (ACM). (3) No work will be allowed during State and Federal Holidays for the term of the contract. For further informaƟon please reference Attachment B.
