The intent of this RFP is to obtain proposals from licensed and qualified firms specializing in unarmed, uniformed security services supported by contractor-supplied vehicles. The selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of MTS riders, employees, visitors, facilities, and property throughout the duration of the contract. This Request for Proposal outlines operational and management expectations, including the deployment of visible, professional patrol officers aboard MTS buses and throughout County and State-owned park-and-ride lots. Officers must be equipped to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, fare disputes, ordinance violations, and quality-of-life concerns, with a commitment to tact and professionalism. Services will include both foot and vehicular patrols. Respondents shall use this written document, its attachments, and any addenda as the sole basis for their proposal response.
