This project will develop a beach management plan for the ten (10) public beaches in the Town of Falmouth. The plan must be prepared for readiness to submit to any applicable regulatory agencies for permitting. To inform the planning process, the consultant will: 1) Review prior plans and permits. 2) Develop an updated inventory of natural and anthropogenic resources, historical evolution, and existing coastal processes at each public beach site that will serve as a reference document for coastal managers. 3) Develop an updated management program that is consistent with federal, state, and local laws and regulations for various potential uses of the beaches. Management activities to include: a. Infrastructure maintenance and improvement b. Monitoring activities c. Routine maintenance of utilities d. Maintenance of parking areas, fencing, and retaining walls e.
