Contractor shall perform sweeping operations of the Owner’s improved and accepted public streets and bridges using Regenerative Air Sweepers. Contractor shall sweep all public streets and bridges six (6) times per year with regenerative air sweepers and up-to four (4) times per year with mechanical sweepers. Each regenerative air cycle shall occur every eight (8) weeks. Adjustments to i shall be allowed to accommodate for weather events, holidays, and other events that impede sweeping activities as agreed upon and approved by Owner. The mechanical sweepers shall be used as a supplement to regenerative air sweepers with approval by Owner. Mechanical sweepers shall only be used to sweep larger and more difficult debris ahead of a regenerative air sweeper. It shall not be the sole sweeper on a street or sweep after a regenerative air sweeper. No more than two cycles shall be permitted within a six month period, except if specifically approved by Owner.
