Contractor shall inspect, document, and report on the condition of all three towers’ sluice gate chambers below the operating floor. This includes inspection of the concrete chambers’ overall condition, as well as thorough cleaning (hydroblasting) and detailed condition assessment for all critical components (and associated hardware) of each sluice gate assembly from top to bottom. There are a total of fifteen (15) sluice gate assemblies included for cleaning and inspection, with three (3) being located at the Round Valley South Tower and six (6) each at the Round Valley North and Spruce Run towers. In addition, at both Round Valley towers, the Contractor shall remove, repair, and replace various components and hardware in order to fully refurbish each sluice gate assembly as defined by the Contract Drawings & Specifications. The Drawings identify known and/or suspected deficiencies, which were used to develop bid quantities for the various repair items.
