The proposed project consists of repair and replacement of the City's Red Mountain Flume. The proposed project will require cleaning and prepping the existing canal bottom along with removing existing pipe materials, placing bedding and imported fill to install new 30" Pipe the length of the project. The proposed project consists of 4 bid schedules which consist of 1 base bid totaling 7310 ft of new pipe installation, replacement of an existing valve located in the Chessman Damn Structure, repair/replacement of existing trestle sections, and repair/replacement of turnouts and other concrete structures. The three alternative bids totaling an additional 4,210 ft of pipe to be installed along with removal and replacement of existing materials and structures as defined in the plans.
