General Requirements: The contractor shall provide home-going transportation services for the St. Louis/Hayti, Kansas City/Independence, and Springfield/Mount Vernon (hereinafter referred to as the “routes”) for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Missouri School for the Deaf in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. The contractor shall understand and agree that the home-going transportation services shall be for MSD students that are deaf or hard-of-hearing in the State of Missouri (hereinafter referred to as students) who have an impaired ability to recognize, understand, or comprehend ordinary auditory cues. The contractor shall understand and agree that per Attachment 3, Number of Students and Chaperones per Route, the state agency estimates, but in no way guarantees, that a total of approximately 25 students/chaperones will require home-going transportation services. Contractor’s Obligation: Unless otherwise specified herein, the contractor shall furnish all material, labor, facilities, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform the services required herein.
