Invasive Plant Species Removal Services for Rockwoods Reservation located in Saint Louis County, MO on approximately sixty-one (61) acres. The contractor must have a valid applicable State of Missouri commercial pesticide applicators license before using any chemicals on Department property. The contractor shall provide documentation of compliance upon request by the Department. a. Plants must be foliar sprayed with a broadleaf selective herbicide mix with active ingredients such as aminocyclopyrachlor, aminopyraid, chlorosulfuron, metsulfron methyl, picloram, triclopyr amine, and/or 2, 4-D. Examples of appropriate commercial herbicide products include but are not limited to Perspective, Cimmaron, Capstone, GrazonNext HL, Chaparral, Opensight, or Gunslinger AMP. Any herbicide in-use on Department property must be approved by the Department representative. The herbicide shall be mixed with water at the labeled rate for the target species. If the herbicide product does not include a pre-mixed surfactant, an approved surfactant shall be added at the manufacturers recommended rate.
