The Town of Buchanan is seeking the services of an experienced firm(s) to proceed with outreach, data collection, financial analysis and educational efforts to gather data and inform the electorate of the needs for a referendum to fund capital improvement projects (roads). In addition, if the data comes back and show enough support to continue with a referendum and the Board decides to move forward with a referendum, then additional educational/promotional work will be required to ensure the highest success possible for the effort. Additionally, the Town seeks assistance with the formal referendum process to ensure compliance with statutes and procedures to include but not limited to assuring the proper procedures are followed, resolutions and wording of the referendum question are precise and accurate as well as financial analysis to verify the appropriate amount is selected.
