The Contractor shall perform plumbing and gas repairs are critical for the operations of any office or building. As-needed repairs refer to any scheduled plumbing or gas repair that requires attention to restore functionality to a system. These repairs are typical when the workload has become very large, and additional manpower is needed. The successful Contractor is expected to provide all personnel, materials, and equipment, and perform all repairs on an as-needed basis. Facilities Management will give a 24-hour notice before the Contractor is obligated to comply with the request. These repairs may not exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) individually. Emergency repairs refer to any sudden, unexpected plumbing and gas issue that requires immediate attention to restore functionality and prevent further damage. The successful Contractor is expected to provide all personnel, materials, and equipment, and perform all repairs on an emergency callout basis. If the repair is expected to be more than two thousand and five hundred dollars ($2,500.00), the Contractor shall immediately notify the Facilities Management Director for approval.
