Wisconsin DNR is seeking vendors to manage and operate certain state-owned shooting ranges across the state. This request is intended to gather information from vendors who have a vested interest in shooting range management and operations. Depending on the terms of the Lease agreement, a percentage of any revenue generated from these locations may be paid to the DNR in the form of “rent”. Responses may be used to strengthen and develop a shooting range management bidding process. An example of services vendors may provide could be: Daily inspection and maintenance of the range facility Range Safety Officer (RSO) presence during shooting hours Courses related to teaching people about hunting and shooting (i.e. Hunter Ed, Learn to Shoot, Learn to Hunt programs)
