● Provides therapeutic services as necessary for children diagnosed as having speech, language, voice, fluency, or hearing disorders. ● Obtains all pertinent medical, social and family background information necessary to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of overall developmental skills. Administers formal, informal, and screening measures in the area of speech and language development as appropriate. ● Participates as a member of an interagency, multi-disciplinary team. ● Keeps current progress notes and other documentation as appropriate. ● Develops written reports and IEPs, along with progress updates according to district guidelines. ● Serves as a member of IEP teams and communicates effectively with students, staff, and families. ● Provides consultation for related agencies in regards to speech/language development and remediation. ● Conducts requested in service training as it relates to speech/language development and early intervention. ● Adheres to all federal, state and local laws, policies and guidelines
