North Carolina A&T State University is soliciting quotes for the removal and replacement of five (5) existing mini split HVAC units located at the PT CAM facility, an off-campus location. The purpose of this project is to restore reliable and energy-efficient climate control within the facility, which supports university-related research and academic functions. The existing mini split units are aging and no longer operate at optimal efficiency. This replacement project is necessary to ensure proper indoor air quality, temperature regulation, and compliance with current safety and mechanical standards. The scope includes the removal of all existing units, evaluation and replacement or treatment of existing line sets, refrigerant recovery and disposal, and the installation of new equipment, including all necessary electrical and mechanical connections.
