Professional services to provide planning support services to ensure delivery of DOT&PF required plans as well as support statewide transportation planning efforts. Planning support services are intended to supplement DOT&PF efforts in a variety of transportation planning activities. Specific tasks include but are not limited to the following areas: 1. Public involvement and communication: To include web pages, meeting facilitation, consolidating and distributing meeting notes, arranging stakeholder advisory teams and monitoring and documenting their feedback.) 2. Program support and assistance: To include support with new funding calls for projects and programs, transit grant support and etc. 3. Transit planning: Assistance with components of several ongoing transit planning efforts, including the Transit Areas of Consistent Poverty grant that comprised part of the Alaska Community Connectivity Action Plan, statewide transit plan, and others, and transit program assistance. 4. Technical editing 5. Mapping services/GIS, primarily related to plan development and graphics. 6. Cost estimating of recommended projects that are highlighted through planning.
