SECTION 1.0 GENERAL The scope of this bid is to furnish and deliver two (2) complete sets of replacement aluminum weirs and baffles for the 60-foot diameter Primary Clarifiers 3 and 4 at the Wright Smith Wastewater Treatment Plant. I. Submittals a. Shop Drawings b. Manufacturer’s specifications and technical data c. Detailed itemized list of components II. Design Requirements a. All materials and components shall be new, unused, and free from defects. b. All items shall comply with applicable industry standards and be suitable for wastewater service. c. All components must be compatible with existing clarifier structures and designed for long-term durability in wastewater conditions. III. Required Components Supply (2) two complete sets of aluminum weirs & baffles. Each set shall include, at a minimum: a. Scum baffle: 18-inch height × 1/4-inch thickness aluminum plate b. Weirs: 9-inch height × 1/4-inch thickness aluminum plate c. Support brackets: aluminum construction d. Weir washers e. Anchors: 1/2-inch diameter wedge anchors, 316 stainless steel f. Assembly fasteners: 316 stainless steel g. Isolation sleeves and washers: suitable for isolation of dissimilar metals.
