The City of Kenai is requesting quotes for the demolition and installation of three (3) new doors at the Vintage Pointe Congregate Housing complex. All new doors shall be Dark Bronze in color, Aluminum, feature 10" ADA-compliant bottom rails, 1" insulated safety glass, a heavyduty door closer, and a 9" exterior door pull. The successful bidder will be responsible for reusing the existing sensor bar exit device, mag lock, door cord, and ADA door openers on all three installations. There will be no exterior keyed cylinders, as door access will be managed by the existing badge reader and sensor bar system. Contractor will be responsible for reconnecting all existing openers and lock systems to provide fully operational, ADA compliant entrance and egress upon completion of project. The doors to be replaced are: • Front Entry Double Door: A double entry door requiring replacement. Door rough opening estimates are 79 ¼" x 72". • East Hallway Single-Entry Door: A single-entry door is located at the end of the east hallway. Rough opening measures 79 ¼" x 36". • West Hallway Single Entry Door: A single entry door located in the west hallway, between Vintage Pointe and the Senior Center. Rough opening measures 79 ¼" x 36". Project Requirements: • Field Verification: The contractor is solely responsible for verifying all field measurements before ordering materials. • Project Timeline: The project shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) days from the Notice to Proceed. • Permitting: The contractor will be responsible for obtaining a building permit from the City of Kenai to perform the work. The permit fee for this project will be waived.
