This annual contract is for a period of twelve (12) months beginning 09/01/2025 or with the date of award, whichever is later, to provide accreditation of all LA DOTD District Laboratories and the Independent Assurance (IA) Laboratory located at the Materials & Testing Section through assessment per the attached Chart of AASHTO, ASTM, and/or DOTD TR Test Methods in accordance with AASHTO R18 requirements set forth by the Federal Highway Administration. Contractor to supply all proficiency samples necessary to properly accredit each laboratory. The Contractor shall be a nationally recognized accrediting body to provide accreditation assessments to laboratories conducting materials testing and be capable of producing nationally recognized accreditation documentation based on the results of the assessment to comply with the requirements of AASHTO R 18.
