A. Contractor shall be a California licensed, C-16 Fire Protection Contractor, licensed by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board and always maintain an active license during the term of this Agreement. B. Contractor shall perform a six (6) year inspection on all fire dampers in the first fiscal year (2025- 2026). C. Contractor shall perform a 2025-2026 acceptance testing for automatic dampers. i. Any newly installed dampers shall be tested one year after installation. D. Contractor shall provide a physical inspection of all dampers and include an inventory of all fire and smoke dampers and combination fire/smoke dampers distributed through each mechanical air movement system at each location. The physical inspection shall include determination of any modification including seals and its intended operation. E. The functional test of the system (all dampers) shall be done to verify that they operate as originally designed and in accordance with the applicable state codes, Regulations and National Standards NFPA 80, NFPA 92 and NFPA 105. F. Contractor shall verify that fire dampers are opening and closing when fire alarms activate. G. Contractor shall complete all wiring and hardware changes necessary for proper functioning with new device replacement. H. Contractor shall verify where applicable that the fuse links in each fire/smoke damper is intact and is of the required rating and year of manufacture stamped on the link. I. Using an approved method, the Contractor shall clean inside of the sampling tubes to remove accumulated dust or dirt. J. Contractor shall lubricate all moving parts adjust louvers to obtain a complete seal and proper closure, inspect condition of curtains, and replace fuse links as needed...
