# Create a design, fabrication, installation schedule with key milestones and deliverables. # Design concept; Story Map/Initial Layout, Graphic Treatment (Text Panel, Graphic Panel, and overall look and feel), key artifact(s) display treatment, and archival material/story treatment. # Produce the key components of the exhibit. This should include document(s) for proofing: o Create the final exhibit copy based on KHS preliminary interpretive copy, with two rounds of revisions from KHS. The first of these should have the text roughly formatted on the text panels. o Physical Layout: integrate accessibility into design, layout, and audio/visual components (for example: readability, ADA compliance, captions for video, etc., If applicable). o Fabrication of built materials (excluding Mila wall panels, semi-permanent wall volumes, KHS-provided cases) that may be required. # Produce exhibit design to include: o Completed text and graphics o Use of artifacts, images, archival materials o 3 interactives; one for each major section (primarily tactile, requiring physical movement and/or visitor response and/or interaction between visitors) # Utilize exhibit elements (artifact cases, platforms. and moveable walls) available at KHS when possible.
