a. Mowing (bagging when necessary) b. Weed Eating c. Bush and Hedge Trimming d. Edging e. Landscaping f. Minor Repairs on Irrigation Systems (ongoing maintenance of existing system. i.e. broken heads, sprinkler box maintenance, etc.) g. Tree Trimming h. Proper removal of landscape debris such as leaves, sticks, grass clippings, etc. and disposed of at the County landfill, not the County dumpsters or on County property. i. Blowing entrance and exit ways, sidewalks, driveways, ramps, parking areas, etc. clean from grass and other debris. j. Mulch, where applicable. (Mulch to be provided by the Contractor) 5.9 MOWING a. The Contractor shall mow as directed by Putnam County. b. When conditions permit, each mowing and weed eating must begin and be completed within (7) consecutive days. c. All pipes, markers, well casings, fencing, culverts, and drainage structures will be clearly delineated by the County before work begins under this contract. d. The Contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with any damage caused by the Contractor that occurs while under this contract, i.e. damage to pipes, markers, well casings, fencing, culverts, drainage structures, and turf. e. The finished height of the grass shall be no less than 4” and no greater than 6” at each landfill location. (See maps of Landfills on following pages). f. The finished height of the grass shall be no less than 2.5” and no greater than 3” at every other location within the County.
