The City of Pigeon Forge is accepting sealed bids on the re-color coating of six (6) tennis courts, two (4) pickle ball courts, at Pigeon Forge City Park. Work also includes (2) Basketball Courts located at Wear Farm City Park. • Courts shall be cleaned to remove all dirt; debris and prepared for re-color coating. • Cracks: clean and repair cracks with a Laykold deep patch-based crack fill material. • Acrylic Surface System: After complete surface preparation and crack repair. One coats of Laykold Resurfacer will be applied. After sufficient drying & curing apply two coats of Laykold Color Coat Concentrate textured batch mixture. Each coat should be completely dry before subsequent coats. Each coat will have sand mixed in to provide surface texture. The contractor shall follow all manufacture’s specifications regarding application of the color coating material, which would include weather conditions, time between coats, surface preparations, etc. • Once textured mixture has had ample time for drying, apply one coat of Laykold Color Coat Concentrate. Allow 24 hours before applying game lines or time as required by product manufacture. • Provide and Install all 2” game lines using a Laykold white line primer and line paint to USTA standards. • Applications must be done to clean dry surface and the temperature of 50 Degrees and rising or by manufacture’s recommendations. • Colors: Inter Field: Dark Blue RAL 6001; Outer Field: Dark Green RAL 5001 • All coatings shall NOT contain any lead, mercury nor heavy metals, PCB, or formaldehyde. • Upon completion, proper removal of all construction debris, surplus materials, empty containers and wash water, and shall leave the site in a condition acceptable to the owner. • Warranty covering Labor, Workmanship, product, Installer defect, Manufacture for a period of 1-Year from date of project completion as approved by owner. • NOTE: Product specified is listed to set a product standard. Alternate products must be approved by the City, and must meet or exceed the product listed.
