The DCCMHB is seeking proposals from experienced financial professionals with expertise in public and/or nonprofit financial services. The selected consultant will work closely with the DCCMHB Executive Director, Finance Committee, and funded agencies to ensure financial health, compliance, and transparency. Services include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform annual financial health assessments of funded agencies that account for financial stability, solvency, cash flow, and similar appropriate review points. 2. Review and analyze quarterly financial reports submitted by funded agencies. Provide insights into agency performance and financial practices, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accountability. 3. Provide annual DeKalb County Community Mental Health Board training on internal financial documents and the understanding of financial documents for funded agencies. 4. Identify financial risks or concerns in funded agencies and offer tailored consultation and support to address such issues. 5. When applicable, assist the DCCMHB in creating financial performance improvement plans. 6. Provide other financial services as may be mutually agreed upon by the DCCMHB and the consultant during the contract period.
