Notice is hereby given that the City of Laredo is now accepting sealed proposals, subject to the Terms and Conditions of this Request for Proposals and other contract provisions, for awarding a contract to replace existing large water meters with Neptune Mach 10 ultrasonic water meters at various locations throughout the utility service area. The project will be executed in five phases. Phases 1 to 4 encompass the entire city. Phase 5 is the meters throughout the city that are being estimated and need to be replaced. Each phase will be bid individually and can be selected to begin in any order by the Utilities. Bidders may submit proposals for one or more phases. The Utilities reserves the right to award only one or more phases as it determines fit. Each phase will include the replacement of a specified number of meters.
