• Ascertain vendor interest in developing an automated child protective intake decisionmaking tool to support hotline specialists with making decisions to register child protective reports in alignment with NYS statute and OCFS policies and procedures. • Promote consistent decision-making among staff and strengthen objectivity during the intake process. • Identify improvements to the child protective intake process while remaining in compliance with NYS statute and OCFS policies and procedures. • Obtain information on a method to evaluate the use of an automated decision-making tool through qualitative and quantitative measures. • Obtain information on a shareable format of the tool and a process to provide data for stakeholders inquiring about how the SCR makes consistent, accurate, and equitable decisions during the intake process.
