Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) is seeking to upgrade its existing bus maintenance facility located at 1 Ryan Ranch Road, Monterey, CA 93940 to accommodate hydrogen fuel cell electric bus (FCEB) major repair activities. The work under this contract consists of upgrading existing Bus Repair Area 119 consisting of two (2) repair bays. Features of the work include, but are not limited to, the following: Architectural: • Verify existing wall assembly rating from top of slab to underside of deck to be compliant with 1-hour rated assembly (partition between Bus Repair Bay 119 and Bus Repair Bay 118). o Provide new / extend existing 1-HR rated partition if condition does not exist. • Remove existing single door at wall between Bus Repair Bay 119 and Bus Repair Bay 118. • Provide new 45 MIN rated hollow metal doors with vision lite at demo existing door location as noted in drawing. • Exit sign to be removed as noted in drawing.
