This project shall consist of replacing the existing two-lane Leonard Ave Bridge with an 8-ft by 14-ft reinforced double box culvert, constructing roadway temporary pavement, and canal embankments. The construction shall involve all labor, materials, tools and equipment for clearing, grubbing, saw-cutting, excavation, earthwork, engineering fill, grading, backfilling, compaction, demolition of existing reinforced box culvert, headwalls, wingwalls and all related improvements, removal of existing concrete inlet and drain pipe to the treatment plant, construction of reinforced concrete improvements such as double box culvert, deck sidewalks, curbs, gutters, barriers, parapets, wingwalls, channel lining and pier/trash rider, installation of geotextile fabrics, rock slope protection, tubular hand railing, chain-link railing, steel casing, utility vaults and lids, access/safety ladders, construction of roadway asphalt concrete pavement, aggregate base, canal embankments, and installation of traffic striping and signage.
